Survivors for Strays exists because of the compassion and generosity of people like you. We receive no federal funding—every dollar comes from animal lovers who believe in giving second chances. As a small organization, we do everything we can to stretch each donation.
Each day brings heartbreaking choices. When we get urgent lists of animals scheduled to be euthanized, we can only save the ones we have room and resources for. With every adoption, we free up space to rescue another. Your support keeps this cycle of hope going—helping us provide medical care, food, shelter, and love to animals who need it most.

Every gift makes it possible to rescue more innocent animals in need. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
How Your Donation Makes an IMPACT:

🎨 Pawtraits with Purpose
Honor your beloved pet with a beautiful custom painting—and help another animal find safety.
Survivors for Strays has partnered with a talented local artist to offer something truly special. With a $100 donation, you’ll receive a custom, hand-painted portrait of your dog or cat, based on a photo you provide.
Here’s how it works:
🐾 Your pet’s portrait will be proudly displayed at our Rescue Center for one month - adding love and color to our walls.
🐾 We’ll also feature your name and your generous gift in our monthly newsletter and on social media.
🐾 After the month is up, we’ll send the portrait to you to treasure forever.
Not only do you get a meaningful keepsake, you help provide safe shelter, food, and care for animals in need. Your gift helps cover our monthly rent, so you’re literally helping us keep the lights on and the doors open.
Currently, we are able to accept only 15 portraits per month, so secure your spot now!
